The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a country situated on the Arabian Peninsula in Western Asia. It shares borders with Saudi Arabia to the south and west, Oman to the east, and the Persian Gulf to the north. Comprising seven emirates—Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah—the UAE's capital city is Abu Dhabi.
