South Sudan

South Sudan is a country located in northeastern Africa. It gained independence from Sudan in 2011 and is now recognized as a separate nation. It shares borders with Sudan to the north, Ethiopia to the east, Kenya to the southeast, Uganda to the south, the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the southwest, and the Central African Republic to the west. The capital and largest city of South Sudan is Juba.
